Pre-Stressed Concrete & Sleeper Factory

This is a Specialized factory for manufacturing Pre-Stressed Concrete Sleepers & Turnouts for our Railway projects. The location of the factory is at Durmut, Jamalpur district, on the northern belt of the country with more than 5.50 acres of land utilized for different installations including Factory sheds to support - Plants, Godowns, Batching plant, Casting platforms, Steam Curing chamber, Equipment house, Laboratory, Water curing chamber, Stone crusher plant etc.

Factory and Plants

DG/BG/MG turnouts, switch expansion joint & static switches are manufactured in our plant which are used in Bangladesh Railway. Present annual productions are as under.

DG Pre-Stressed Concrete Sleeper : 1,00,000 nos/year
BG Pre-Stressed Concrete Sleeper : 40,000 nos/year
MG Pre-Stressed concrete Sleeper : 3,00,000 nos/year
Turnouts DG : 36 Sets/year
TurnoutsBG : 60 Sets/year
Turnouts MG : 80 Sets/year

A contract was signed on 1st March 2015 between LGED and Toma Construction & Co. Ltd. for "Construction of Khulna Coal Based Power Plant Connecting Road " at LGED H/Q under Bangladesh Power Development Board. Mr. Shyama Prosad Adhikari, Chief Engineer, LGED and other LGED high officials were also present on that occasion.
